How to automatically assign team member to issue when s/he moves ticket to next status?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to automatically assign team member as assignee to a ticket, when s/he moves ticket from e.g., status 'To Do' to 'In Progress'? I know there is a post-function, but it allows only to choose one member or Lead, but e.g., when there is a team of 5, team members may vary. Maybe there are any automation rules?

You can use Jira automation rule to do this. There is an action that allows you to set the assignee that triggered the event.
