Hi Everyone!
We would like to know what the correct procedure would be like to move the Jira-Install directory to another directory within the same server, the client's current infrastructure is as follows:
They have mounted Jira Sofware server in version 7.0.11 and inside this one the Jira Service Desk server in the version 3.0.11, at the server level in Linux Red Hat 6.5 they have it in cluster, that is to say the Jira Install directories them replicated in two nodes that point to a floating disk which contains the Jira-Home directory.

Milena González.
Hi Milena, try this document:
It covers both Windows & Linux so use the Linux section and select your version of Jira from the drop-down. I'm not a Linux Engineer but if they are replicating the two nodes, my guess is that you should only need to update one for the change to be replicated to the other.

Hi
Thanks for the information, but the directory that is necessary to pass to another File System is the Jira-Install not the Jira - Home, is it possible in linux just to copy and paste the directory in the new file system?
Thanks Regards
Milena González

Shouldn't be an issue. start-jira.sh is what starts Jira and you run it from whatever directory its in. you will need to make sure any auto start or scripts that point to the old location reflect the new path.
