How to change Rank between issues with different status

Hi,

Is there a way to change rank between issues with different status?

Lets say we have some issues with different status and want to change the rank between them, is that possible?

I have made a filter with the issues (order by Rank ASC). I can drag issues up and down but the rank doesn't updates.

Any ideas?

I am sorry, but I do not understand the question.  Most of it makes sense, but I am stuck on:

If issues land where you put them, then the rank does update.  You could not possibly see a change if it did not.  If they are not doing that, they jump back to where they were, then can you check you have the right permissions to re-order them?

The issues land where I want them but when I update the filter (search again) the order is the same as before. I have the right permission, I can change the rank on the board.
