Hello all. We currently have a client which uses jira server, and they are planning to migrate to Jira Datacenter.
Client´s Jira server uses LDAP to connect to Active directory.
Was checking available info for steps to follow while migrating Jira Server LDAP to Jira Data center but didn´t find steps or process to follow.
I only found this
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/connecting-to-an-ldap-directory-938847052.html
this is talking about installing it in data center or in server, but how about during migration process?
We are planning to create jira data center with 2 or possible 3 nodes.
thank you
HI @guillermo casco ,
When you migrate, you just need to do one final sync before shutting down the server. That way you have that latest Data from the AD. Then you just migrate the data and reconnect back to the AD on the DC side.
It doesn't matter how many nodes you have in your cluster. When the sync up, they will have the LDAP info.
Hope this helps.
