How to configure custom filed in transition

I wanted to add one custom filed " On Hold" for project salesforce and want to add in a transition
for In testing -> On Hold
On Hold send back to In testing
On hold -> Done

Created same added in transition also however custom filed is not reflecting for in Jira tickets

Hi Manasi,

I'm a bit confused by your post. Do your want to add a custom field or do you just want to have an "on hold" status? It seems to me that "on hold" would be a status here not a custom field. Please clarify.

yes, I want to add On hold in status.

Transition should be

In testing  send to  On Hold
On Hold send back to In testing
On hold  send to Done

The solution depends on the type of project. Assuming you are in Cloud and using Classic project..

• you must be an admin
• go to project, project settings, workflows
• find your workflow, if more than one, and edit the workflow
• in diagram mode add status “On Hold”
• add the transitions as desired
