How to create a customized field in a project board.

I need to create and add customized fields in an existing  project board

Hi Chris,

What type of project is it - Next-gen? Classic Software? 

If Classic Software, you need to go to Settings > Issues > Custom fields and create your shared field. The last step will ask which screens you want to put the field on.

Go to Project Settings > Issue Types

Then on the right hand side you can create new custom fields of various types.
