Hi,
I've configured a costume filter (it's working, I checked)
I tried to create an additional Board from an existing Saved Filter.
BUT it's not working for me. (it's not displaying the relevant filter.)
I just want an additional board for the same project why is it so complicated this is so frustrating .
I just want an extra board like there
Please don't send me to read any more documentation the English is already hard for me
Hi Dorix,
Is this a Team-managed project? Or Company-managed project?
To create an additional board, you must create a regular filter - not a board filter.
Click on the Filters in the top nav bar and then select View all filters.
Then click on the Create filter button on the top right.
Put your filter in there and search to make sure it shows what you want. Then save that filter and share it.
Now you can create a board against that filter.
1. how do I know if this a Team-managed project or Company-managed project?
2. what top bar nav filter? I can't find what you're talking about. Can you please add screenshots?

Yes, it is Team-managed then. Also, you should see that it says that in the bottom left hand corner of the screen while you are on the board.
But If you do what I described above, that should still work.

That might be because the Project is not a Company-managed project or is a JSM project. You don't need the Location populated with the Project name for the filter and board to work.

OK...I still don't understand HOW TO create additional board that displays only the tasks that answer the filter...
I don't just want to filter the board....I want to add another board based on this filter

No, that is not true. Just use your personal space as you have above. Then when the board is created, copy the URL. Then click the Add shortcut link in the menu to the left and paste in the URL of the board and give the Shortcut a name. Then when you want to access the board, you just click on the shortcut.

But it's not board in the same project. it leads me do a different page.
I need the other team members to have access to this board.
Is it possible ?
I don't know if I didn't explain my self good.
What I want is:
A SECOND BOARD IN THE PROJECT. (this is a team-managed project)
I want it to look like this.
I know what I want.
Please don't try to find something similar or alike.
You know, it's very frustrating that for several days I've been looking for an answer in the documentation, looking in the community and getting answers that don't answer the question I asked.
Out of desperation I asked people from my previous job and this is the answer they sent me.
If I had known this from the beginning it would have saved a lot of frustration.
"Not possible" is also an answer.

You cannot create a second board IN a team-managed project. But you can do exactly what I said and it serves the purpose. The users have access and can click on the link in the left hand side just as easily has clicking on the drop down for the boards and selecting a different board. If back, it is one less click.
Your request above says "I tried to create an additional Board from an existing Saved Filter." That is what you have been given.

Quickfilters have their jql stored in the Board - Config location.
Just copy this jql and use it in the search for issues page accessed from the blue menu: issues
use the advanced jql representation and paste your quickfilter jql there.
Press SEARCH button, your issues will be displayed, then press SAVE
Now your filter will be accessible as a board filter in the interface you presented in the picture.

Hi, so I do see the filter now! tnx.
BUT...I can't add a board to the specific project I want to add a board to.
The project I want to add a board to is called Development-Dorix and its not visible as a choice

Hi Dorix,
The viewability of a board is set in the general section of the board configuration. Just add-in the development project users by giving them view access.
