How to create automation if ticket gets approved via e mail.

Hi,

I have configured the one automation like transition from one status to another status automatically send email notification to approval. And It is working fine .

Once leads will approve via e mail ? how can we get automated? and also it will reflect in the comment section ?

Guide me how can I automated this .

Hi Mohan,

This process is not built-in for Jira Software like it is Jira Service Management. I have implemented a similar process to approve by email in the past. Maybe you can give this article a try.

Hi @mohan_reddy,

You should be able to use the approval completed trigger in automation to act as the thing that fires your automation rule. Once it's triggered, you should be able to do anything automation lets you, like add a comment, edit a field, send an email, transition the issue, ...

I'm trying to fully understand the "approval completed" trigger.  If I have five users that have to approve before the workflow moves forward, does this trigger for each person that approves the ticket, or is this only triggering when the final user approves the ticket?
