How to create child issues for "theme" and "initiative" issues in Advanced Roadmaps?

I'm looking to see if Advanced Roadmaps brings value for us. The extra hierarchy is valuable, but only if we can create "child issues". Sofar I can only create "linked issues" and within choosing for "child of".

How is it possible to create Child issues for "Themes" and "Initiative"-issues?

For migration purposes it is also required to do some automation. Is there a way to do that?
