How to deactivate a user account who is project lead to an Archived project?

Hello,

Staff member has left the company, but I can't deactivate his account because he is a project Lead and the project is Archived. How can I change the project lead in Archived project to be able to deactivate the exited user's Jira account?

Hello, Good day. You could un-archive the project and remove the project lead and then proceed to deactivate this user. Thanks

Hi Mohanraj, 
Thanks for the reply, however I can't see any option to Un-Archive and all the Archived projects are kind of bold I can't select it and there are no options to do anything. 
Our system is in Data Center not in cloud.

Navigate to Projects -> Archived Projects (left bar) -> Search for the project -> Click on the three dots -> Restore
