How to display a custom field I have created on everyone Epic template ?

Hello Everyone, 

I am facing an issue I don't know how to display the new field I have created for everyone in the project. 

I explain, I hacve customized a field "description" to add question and facilitate the fill in. 
I have tick the box of configuration on my template so it  appears, but I want it to apply to everyone in the project...

Do you know how I can apply this for all the project ?

Hello, 

Here my problem is that I have created the custom field and on my ticket it appears because I have updated screens and so on :

But I can see it and other people not, and they have to go on here :

And select it, and I would like to have this field display automatically for everyone in this project without this made manually do you know if it's possible ? 
I hope i am clear, if not don't hesitate to ask me for more explaination!

I don't think this possible from your end. Because this is kind of filter which you applied in you create issue screen. But it depends on another user how they have selected for them.

Hi @Manon Ledda 

Firstly you need Jira Admin global permission to this.

1. Click on Jira setting cog and pop will come and click on issues..4.0.PNG

2. Search for custom field option.

3. Search for Custom field in my example Budget I want to associate to all the project or screens.

4. Click on Custom field (Budget) setting cog and Click on associate to Screen option.

5. Select all the screen of the specific project as per your according to you.

6. After selecting all the required screen and you can click on Update.

Hi Manon - what you you mean by apply it? Do you mean make it required? Can the other users see the field?

Yes they can see the field if they go the their fields configuration when they are creating the epic, but I would like that they have the field automatically when they clic on "create an Epic" because they won't modify by hand the template of the ticket.

No, unfortunately, you can't prepopulate a field during the create process based on the value in another issue.  :-(
