I see this question asked a few other times, and the assumption seems to be that the person has admin access to check which type of license they're using. However, not all of us are admins...how do we see that? I'd rather not bother our IT department asking for something which is not available to us.
Hi @Lisa Quatmann ,
If you want to find out whether your Jira instance is using a Standard or Premium license and you are not an admin, it can be challenging because most license details are only visible to administrators.
Sometimes, you can infer the license type by checking if certain Premium-only features are available.

Hello @Lisa Quatmann
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
Adding to @Ollie Guan 's answer, the Plans menu option will appear only for Premium and Enterprise subscriptions. However, it may be possible to hide that menu if the administrators have set up very restrictive permissions for the feature.
Asking the Jira Product Administrators is the best way to get a conclusive answer.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
And also request that the administrators document this somewhere for the next person to ask the same question. You're likely not the first!

Where do I find who the Jira Product Administrators are? Or let me guess, that's not visible either?
