I use JIRA timeline
with hierarchy from initiative to story levels,
and I'd like to filter by the tickets status.
Surprisingly the status filter works not straightforward - e.g. I can't uncheck DEFERRED to hide tickets at DEFERRED status.
Could you please share any advice?
BR, Eugene
I finally realised how that is supposed to work -
we should just uncheck 'Show full hierarchy' to make filtering work as expected.
Thanks everyone for your help!
Try this:
1. Create a quick filter
2. From the timeline select the quick filter

excuse me, @Luca Miceli - I do not see Quick Filters at my view
should it be anyhow configured to be visible?
----
as far I understand, quick filters belong to the board, right?
so, in which board could I create quick filters to be visible at Jira Plans?

Hey @Evgenii Pugin
The steps you've mentioned sound correct. You need to select the required statuses in the filter. Please make sure other status categories are unchecked at the top. For example, with the below setup, it will only show me the issues from the 'Backlog' and 'Selected for Development' statuses.
I hope this helps. If you notice anomalous behaviour, please share a screenshot of the status filter from your plan.
Thanks!

yeah, but it is not working -
e.g. here you can see status BLOCKED is unchecked,
though the tickets with this status are still shown
