Hi
We have 4 Jira Projects to handle Master course migration feature in a online Learning Management System and here are the typical example of usage of it
Please refer the attached "Jira Structure.png" for the Jira structure we have created for it and for a typical scenarion refer the "Scenario 1.png"
Now, we have a requirement to see the possibility of getting a report developed in JIRA. Currently we have a challenge in seeing the full picture of OV2 Master Course Migrations. due to 4 Jira projects in use. In other words, we would like to get a report using Jira or by any other mean so that we can where a particulart Master course is held up (due to a bug).
Anyway we have a Kanan board but it doesn't give the visibility to the team which CDL (Bug assigned to Dev) tickets are blocking a MLMTT ticket (Title) as CDL tickets are found 2-3 levels below MLMTT tickets. hence, the ask for a view of MLMTT to CDL mapping in above ask as finding as to which CDL ticket is causing that classification is a challenge. Hope you understand the requirement is to see an in depth view where we are able to see where Master course migration is blocked.
I really see a gap in any form of reporting that we could come up with basic functionality available for regular JIRA users. Hence, the ask for a custom solution to pull the underlying mapping. We did a basic research and pulled data manually to find out which CDL tickets are blocking MLMTT tickets. What we need is an additional view to filter out CDL tickets being blocked due to MLMTT tickets classified with the Label OpenDev
Highly appreciate your response on above item.
Regards
Piyal
Do the Stories and Bugs have any child/parent relationships to the Epics? If so, how?
Also, are you using issue Links at all?
