How to gain permission to edit Software Simplified Workflow?

Hi. I just took over as Project Manager for an agile project using the Software Simplified Workflow. I’ve been granted Administrator role in Project Settings > People, but when I go to Project Settings > Workflow screen, I don’t have the edit pencil in the Actions column as shown below.

What’s missing to grant me this permission?

Hi Seema - I see the pencil on the right hand side. Is it not available?

Also, have your Jira Administrator verify that the workflow is not shared with any other projects. Just because it has the word Simplified in the workflow name doesn’t mean that it might be shared somewhere else.

@John Funk That screenshot was from my computer. I see the edit pencil, but Seema still does not, even though I've made her an Administrator. Any idea why?

@Erik Britt-Webb  - If you are a Jira Administrator and Seema is not (is just a Project Administrator), then I suspect the workflow is share and not unique to that project. If that is the case, Seema will not be able to edit the workflow.

 I had been administrator at the project level, now i have an access to site level administrator which resolved the problem.
