Hello,

I am trying to add a validator to our Jira board, but the option seems to be inactive in our workflow. I have admin access. Can you please tell me how to add the add on to our workflow?

Hi @Shahrzad Dadgar ,

Jira administrator permission is needed to configure advance workflow with conditions and validators.

Thanks!

Hello @Shahrzad Dadgar

Go to project settings --> workflows --> click on the pencil icon next to the workflow you want to edit. Then click on the transition in the workflow where you want to the validator/condition and a little pop up box should come up and you should see links for the different options there.

*This is assuming you are running on Jira Server, you have global admin permissions, or you have Extended project administration.
