I am trying to add the field "Issue link" which appears on More-->link to create screen. I am adding the screenshot of the field I am looking for.
Can someone help me on how to add this as a field on jira create screen
You should edit the create screen to add the field "Linked Issue".
I think this documentation could help https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/defining-a-screen-938847288.html
Best regards,
Pedro
So you mean I should create a new custom field named "Linked Issue" and then add it to create screen?
Can you brief on what you mean by "edit the create screen to add the field "Linked Issue"."
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You don't have to create any new field.
On Jira, each project have an associated "Issue type screen scheme" that associate the issues types with the "Screen Scheme". The "Screen Scheme" states what "Screens" will be used on the different actions (Create, Edit, View).
If you check what screen is used in the creation of the issue you can add the existing field called "Linked Issues" that will show it like you print screen.
I hope it help.
