Dear all,

I have a project which is handle using scrum approach and sprints.
I have create different sprint in Jira containing different tasks for each sprint

I have activated my first sprint

What I am trying to achieve is to have a global view of my project in order to see if all sprint task will still fit in project dead line .

For example in case a task take longer that expected to be executed in a sprint, it might happen by this delay might affect a feature in last sprint to be remove in order to fit release date.

How can I visualize that scenario to see if my all project is still on track, in order to identify as earlier as possible if I need to reorder task or remove some ?

Regards

Hello,

I understand that you would like to easily check in a single view if your team is currently earlier than expected or falling behind the expected estimation of your Sprints, is it correct?

This information can be displayed by using the JIRA Sprint Report:

Sprint Report documentation

Basically, these are the indicators you can use to check your team progress:

  • The grey line is a guideline that's drawn from the total estimate of the issues at the start of the sprint, to 0 at the end of the sprint. The grey line stays flat during non-working days.
  • The red line represents actual work done during the sprint — it's drawn from the total estimate of the issues at the start of the sprint, and it goes higher or lower as your team works on the issues in the sprint. Note that the red line shows the current total estimate for unresolved issues at any point in the sprint. It also reflects issues that are added or removed from the sprint.
  • If your board is configured to track remaining estimates and time spent, a green line will display in the Sprint Report, indicating work logged on issues

Let me know if this information helps.

In general, the red line should follow as close as possible the grey line correct ?
