How to hide activity stream completely for a set of users?

How to did activity stream for a bunch of users? (system db, comments and worklog section)

You can go to JIRA Administration > Add-ons and then disable the "JIRA Activity Stream" plugin on your instance (it is located under System plugins).

Note that it is recommended not to disable core plugins, as they can affect the stability of your instance.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

We don't want to apply to the global level. We want to apply only at the bunch of project level. How do you accomplish this ? Is scripting required ?
