Right now, whenever I enabled Qmetry for a project's bug, task, sub-task...all the ticket created with that category will see the traceability and test cases under Description. The only reason that I want to enable Qmetry so that when we do test cycles and found bug, we can create a bug and link to that project and without enabling Qmetry on those project, we cannot create bug and link directly to that project. But every time Qmetry is enabled, traceability shows up and people don't like it. Is there a way to hide it?
Hello @Cong Hoang,
I understand you wish to hide the Bug Traceability section from Jira issues as well as don't want to disable QMetry completely for your project.
Currently, you can hide the Bug Traceability section from Jira issue page as shown in below screenshot:
After clicking, refresh the Jira issue page. Kindly note that the preferences will be saved only for the current Jira issue and this action will be needed to hide the Bug Traceability wherever not required on the Bug issue type.
Note: Bug traceability will always be available on the Jira issue page as long as the QMetry Project Settings are enabled for the Bug issue type. You can disable it for other issue types if not needed.
Let me know if you need any more assistance on the same.
Regards,
Shravani
I don't see the option to hide traceability even though I'm an Admin...what roles do you need in order to see that option? Do you have to be the owner of the project?
