The largest group of portal customers I have also need to be selectable for issues that are created. Rather than manually manage a second list where their names are stored, I would like to be able to use a user picker field that will not show users, or customers classified in another organization. When I filter to only select from service desk customers, I am unable to find any users at all. Help, please!
You can edit the User Picker custom field and add a user filter that allows only the "service desk customer" project role. Haven't tried it myself but worth a shot.
