We used to be able to log work using the dot menu, so looking at the ticket and pressing .
Today this seems to be disappeared from all projects and causing extra clicks to get it from the actions menu.
How do I make time tracking appear in the dot menu?
Hi @Laci Kremer
Please make sure that time tracking field is part of the issue screen if it is removed from the screen then Log work will not be visible.
Thank you,
Ashish
Hi Ashish,
Thanks for the idea, however it is already on the screen, but still not showing up on the popup.

Hi @Laci Kremer
I tried to reproduce the issue at my end by pressing the . but it's not showing the log work option for me either.
However, there is another shortcut that you can use in place of pressing . and typing the Log work. Press "q" on the issue and it will show a pop up to log the time spent as showing in below screenshot
Kindly check and see if this helps you.
Thank you,
Ashish

Hi @Laci Kremer , what project type (TMP, CMP, Software or Business)? Where exactly are you trying to do this? Screenshot?

Software project type. I opened the ticket so like url.atlassian.net/browse/ABC-123 Now pressing the dot key '.' and typing in 'log'. Yesterday an item 'Log work' appeared and selecting it allowed us to add work log entry. Now it is not appearing:

Do you mean this? Appears to still work in my instance.

No, when you're pressing the dot key on your keyboard, a screen shows up and you can type in the command you'd like to run. Just as on the screenshot I uploaded.

Oh yes...got it. You are referring to the "." Shortcut key. I will have to try that when I'm back at my computer. It certainly could be that it was deprecated but that would be unfortunate. You may wish to open a ticket with Atlassian.
