There is a team that needs to put Epics inside the Initiatives but when they try they only can create subtask like an Standard issue type.
I've modify the issue type Hierarchy putting Inititatives above Epics and then Storys,
How can I start store the child issue types (Epics in Initiatives) into the parents ones?
Hello @Sofia Grunspan
Are you trying to put existing Epics into existing Initiatives?
Or are you trying to create new Epics under existing Initiatives?
The Team is trying to move Epic into Initiatives and then create new Epics inside of them

In my case I have "Feature" instead of "Initiative".
From an Advanced Roadmap Plan you can create a new Epic under the item (under Feature for me, Initiative for you) by clicking the ... next to the item and selecting Create Epic.
After that you have to Review the plan changes and commit the changes in order for that Epic to actually be created in the project.
Also, if you are creating a new Epic using the Create Issue button from the menu bar, use the Parent Link field to specify an existing Initiative to which you want to add the Epic.
When viewing the details of the item (Feature for me, Initiative for you) there is no option to create a new Child Epic.
If you already have an Epic issue and you want to make it a child of an existing Initiative you can do that in two ways.
In the AR Plan if you see the Epic there, you can drag and drop that epic under an Initiative to make it a child of that initiative.
In the Epic itself, edit the Parent Link field and fill in/select the Initiative to which you want to add the Epic.
