Now I am going to create a scrum board with the result of above filter. which as shown below
Now I will use all functionality of the sprint board, fix version and also release note to the full extent.
the question is since my boards are for two projects, will there be any unexpected error in the future based on your experience.
Thanks and Regards
Leo
Hi Leo,
The first thing that comes to mind when using multiple projects in a single board is unexpected reporting results. Any of the built in reports you run against that board will include both projects. This would be an issue if you wanted to get reporting data on only one of the projects. Another consideration is that users will need to have browse project permission granted in both projects in order to see the board. If a user only has access to one of the projects, the board will not accessible to them.
Why are the report screens different for boards that contain one project vs. boards that contain multiple projects?
On my single-project boards, there's an option at the bottom of the "Switch Reports" menu that says "All Reports". When you click on it, you have access to the following reports: Burndown Chart, Sprint Report, Velocity Chart, Cumulative Flow Diagram, Version Report, Epic Report, Control Chart, Epic Burndown, Release Burndown, Average Age Report, Created vs. Resolved Issues Report, Pie Chart Report, Recently Created Issues Report, Resolution Time Report, Single Level Group By Report, Time Since Issues Report, Time Tracking Report, User Workload Report, and Version Workload Report.
For my multiple-project boards, the "Switch Report" menu doesn't have an "All Reports" option, and the only reports that are available are Burndown Chart, Sprint Report, Epic Report, Epic Burndown, Version Report, Release Burndown, Velocity Chart, Control Chart, and Cumulative Flow Diagram.
Am I missing something?
