How to mark fields as mandatory without summary section?

Hello, please kindly tell me how to mark the fields as mandatory (with red star)? The solution provided by community already here is not working as I don't have "summary" section in my JIRA. 

I would like to manage that for each issue type differently.

Also I have a problem that I am not able to remove 2 fields, can you help me please?

You can make fields mandatory by changing the field configuration for the project.

Hi John - than kyou for an immediate answer. Unfortunatelly it doesn't work for me as I don't have this: .

After going to Project settings I don't have "issues" I have "issue types" and there no "field configuration" options.

I can create a field but not update its configuration :(
