How to migrate JIRA Teams between instances (both in cloud)

Hey guys,

After migrating 3 projects from source instance (X.atlassian.net) to target Atlassian (Y.atlassian.net) - according to the limitations of the native migrating tool, teams aren't migrated - I don't have the option to relate issue to a Team as in the source JIRA.  (Note that the fact teams aren't migrated is not mentioned.)

Now I would like to know how to migrate only the teams from one instance to another.

Please if somebody know how I would like to know :)

I'm thinking right now the only solution to this is to bulk update the issues on the source instance to a new single select "team 2" field, migrate them with the new data, recreate the teams on the destination site, then bulk update to revert to the native Jira Team field if desired.

Not optimal, but if your data set is small enough it could work.
