Hi ,
We have a process running two times a Day and in the Process, Some duplicate tickets are being created.
Is there a Validator or Post-functions available to prevent Issue creation based on Summary.
Ex: New Hire Access - XYZ created . After we run the process, again the same Issue is being created. It should not happen. The validation should happen for the Summary and Stop creating the duplicate tickets.
Please help me on this.

Hi,
One tool you can use is Automation for Jira to identify any duplicate based on the criteria of your choice and then trigger an action.
You can choose for instance to link issues and close the new one with a resolution duplicate, as it could help to improve your process to have the number of duplicate created. Otherwise you can directly delete the issue.
