Hi, I have been given access like developers for a project in JIRA where iam able to access other projects as well with the same access level. Now if iam given admin access whether it will flow to all projects or is there a way to restrict admin access to one particular project which iam working on.
Hi @Prem Kumar ,
I will tell you the way I know.
Once you navigate to project administration section and add users to role-->select the desired user to administration role and save. The user will be having admin access to only that specific project.
Make sure that the user is not part of any other admin groups.
Method2:
Add the user a testgroup (make sure that testgroup members have access to the ability to access JIRA) and the user into testgroup and remove user from rest of the groups (except testgroup) and add that testgroup in the project administrations.
For me both the methods work., Hope the information helps.
Thanks,
Ravya
