Hi,
Every month I receive 30-40 google sheets all in the same template (but with different links) quantifying new product request impact. When filing the JIRA ticket, requests add a link to the spreadsheet and copy paste 5 summary fields manually into specific fields in the JIRA ticket.
We would like to get more granular and capture more fields in JIRA (Either drop-down short text fields or number fields).
e.g: For every JIRA ticket, Click on the google spreadsheet link in the "source" field and paste value in the cell e26 of this google spreadsheet to the "Impact on growth" field on JIRA
Is there a way to automate this process?

I don't know of any free options, but when I researched this about 3 months ago automate.io was the least expensive and does offer a free trial. It looks like there may be a few options here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Connect-JIRA-to-Google-Sheets-via-JIRA-API/qaq-p/555259
