After working on a project for the last year, we decided to simplify our workflow because it was getting too complicated so we did that, but after we close that sprint with the new workflow we realized all past sprint speed was lost. Also, the cumulative flow diagram is showing a severe break.
It seems that all past sprints lost their issues track record. Can we recover that?
There's no way to do that - you've changed the workflow so it no longer has the data that the sprint reports are built from.
Unless you can analyse what you updated for each issue and return it back to the way it was before, yes.
