Hi,
I recently added the Jira app to my slack but would like to remove it and cant figure out how. I've logged out and gone through any other settings i've found but i keep getting messages.
Are there specific steps I need to take? I dont want to remove it from the actual slack server because other team members use it.
Hi @Chris Hardy
If you are an Admin on Slack you can go to Apps in the left-nav, find the jirabot (you may need to add it), click on it to get to the Jira Cloud settings in Slack and click the "Remove App" button. That should revoke all permissions for Jira in Slack.
You may also want to check Jira's Admin page under "Manage Apps" and remove any Slack pluggins there.

Thanks Scott, I do have an option to "remove app" but it shows a warning saying no one in my company's workspace would be able to use it. I just want it to stop messaging me.

Yeah, they can get a bit annoying.
If you look to the right of your name in Slack you'll see an icon shaped like a bell. Click that, select Notification Preferences, and adjust what notices you want to see. I don't have the Jira plugin installed, so I am not able to confirm, but you may want to check the settings in "Manage Apps" to see if there adjustments you can make on the Jira side.

Thanks Scott,
I finally found how to remove the individual project i was set to follow. Not the most intuitive but I got there.

Great! Can you share the steps so others can see how it is done?

I'm going from my shoddy memory but if you go do /jira manage and click on the projects your assigned to, it'll open a page where you can remove/disconnect it.
