Hi,
Someone created a board (filter) that contains tickets from our backlog (Jira project), and now their board is visible as one of the boards to choose from (see attached screen shot).
My question, is it possible to hide/remove this board as one of the options? Is it possible without making the filter/board private?
Thank you
Hello @Erik Macias
Thank you for reaching out.
You can remove the board from that list by changing its location. These would be the steps:

Thanks for responding. Is this "Locations" option part of the latest Jira? Or Cloud? I am running server v8.5 and I do not see this option :(

Hello @Erik Macias
Digging a little bit more about the location field. I found out that this is a new functionality of Jira Cloud, so it is not available in Server yet.
Indeed, the only way to remove the board from the drop-down on Jira Server now would be by restricting your users from seeing this board filter.
Can you please let us know if this would not be an option for you?

I don't see this locations field in my Cloud version. I can however change the project under Shares, but that makes no sense for me as the board I would like to remove doesn't belong in any project anymore. Would be nice (and expected) to have an "Archive" option
