Hi,
I am Admin & user for more than five JIRA projects. When I want to edit the "Sprint" field of a ticket in one of the project, the drop-down list displays the whole list of Sprint names from all of my projects. The same for all the team members. If I select a wrong Sprint name by human error, that external Sprint also gets displayed in my "Backlog" view and in "Active sprint" gets changed if that sprint is an active sprint. In short the whole project board gets corrupted.
sample scree-shot shown below (The Project I am IN is "DC", I dont want to see any other boards/Sprint names but it shows and causes errors):
How can I switch off this global listing of all Sprint names in all the projects? It us causing a lot of trouble and making JIRA boards un-usable right now.
Thanks
Praveen
You can find the feature request here - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-10805.
The request is in "Future Consideration" Status. So as of now you can implement the workaround suggested there.
Thank you for the update. However as I know from the history of linked tickets it looks like this has been fixed in the DC version of the product. Can I know the same fix availability timeframe in the Cloud version ? This issue is causing wastage of our team's productive time , as we have similar looking Scrum board names and human errors are happening almost all the time, and the boards getting corrupted. JIRA being a productivity enhancement tool, missing such a fundamental feature in the Cloud version is unacceptable for the price being paid by my Organization. Please give a credible timeline for fixing this. thanks

Hi,
Since you've not stated if you're on Cloud or DC - you can refer to below link by atlassian wherein the relevant sprint of the project can be shown.

Thanks for the suggestion Piyush. As mine is a Cloud version this feature is not available.
