Hi,
I have got a Project called Project x for example. In that project i have various different internal groups assigned to that project and i have various different boards which are being used.
I have an group called external users which are from outside the company, i want to give them access to the project x however they should only see issues assigned to them. They should not see any other issues on any other boards associated to that project.
Please can you advise how to do this?
I have created an issue security scheme which contains that group external users however if i were to add that to project x would it have any affect on rest of the boards?

Hello,
That is right you have to setup Issue Security Schemes. it will have effect on boards and filters. User will see only issues, which they are supposed to see by the issue security level.
How would it be best for me to action should i restrict the current boards so that those users from the external group don't see it or apply the issue security scheme?

You should apply the issue security scheme. You can not limit visibility of issues from the same project in a board by other means.

You can define the default value for the Issue Security field.

So i have applied the issue security scheme to the project X. i have created 2 boards one board i have restricted from the external group however the other board they can see. In that board i have created 5 issues 4 of them have an issue security level set however the 5th issue i have set the issue security level to none however all of the users in the external group can see that 5th issue. Please can you advise.
I was under the impression as the issue security scheme is now set only issues which have the security level set to " security x " for example the users in the external users group can see it if it's set to none they should not be able to see it.
