We got asked by a project manager if we as Jira-admins could include the issue key (id) as a search criteria in the basic search, so that users, who would be uncomfortable using the advanced search (jql-query "id = ABC-1"), could easily search for an issue and then start the "Export to Word"-function from the issue navigator. Is that possible?
Alternatively, is there a possibility to just open an issue (so the users could use Quick Search) and then start the export from there?
Yep, you can also do it from individual issues.
This is what the export looks like. Exporting from issue navigator is like the bottom but for every issue found.
Hello Raynard,
we're using Jira 7.8.0 on-prem. I can't export from individual issues in that version.
May I asked which version you are using?

Jira 7.10.2 OnDemand; Hm...

I've got a 7.8 here that has an export button - word, xml and printable. You appear to be missing the export button completely, which suggests one of your admins has removed it somehow.
