How to search issues by Reporters' project role?

Is there any particular function similar to memberOf("") in JQL, using which we can search issues by Project Role?

JIRA has a JQL Function to search by a group but not by a project role.

JQL Tricks Plugin has a method to search by role but it is a commercial plugin.

I know this is quite long ago, but to safe some time searching, try the JQL functions memberOf("") or memberOfProjectRole(""). Maybe they are from the Script Runner plugin.

Sadly memberOfProjectRole appears to be afunction of an addon.
