I'm in the JIRA Administrator group. I'm evaluating the plug-in tool ActivityTimeline.
According to the user guide / administrator guide document, there is a Administrator Role.
How can I set myself to the Administrator Role of the ActivityTimeline?

I am Ostap from the Reliex team, provider of the ActivityTimeline app for Jira.
Glad to hear that you've been able to figure out the issue on your own.
As the general rule of thumb, all Jira admins also get the ActivityTimeline admin role by default, but other users can also be assigned to the Administrator role, even if they don't have the Jira permission.
Other admins have the ability to assign users to User Roles individually:
Or you can manage user roles and other app configurations through Jira groups, and in this case, all people from the group will get the same configuration:
