How to set alert and cancel creating issue in automation?

I want to create an automation that shows an alert message like "A Field is required" and cancels the issue creation if a specific field (ex : A Field) is not filled in.

I've already set up the condition, but I couldn't find any action to display an alert and cancel the issue creation.

 

For reference, this field cannot be set as "required" in the field configuration, so I'm trying to enforce it through automation instead.

Problem Solved.

I was able to handle both issue creation blocking and alert messaging by using a validator in the workflow.

Hi @오타쿠 Welcome to the Atlassian Community,

You can mark fields as being mandatory (they get a small red dot in front of the field)
This is done in the cloud version by an admin on a Company Managed Project via:


Project Settings - Issues - Fields - Actions - edit field - under actions: press Required.
