How to share filters with all users in a group

I created about a dozen filters. Currently they are private, but I want to share them with my many colleagues.

I saw the Share button on the filter page (top right). But that only allows you to share the filter with 1 user at the time.

There is also the Details link (next to Save As), but that is read only and only shows who can view or edit the filter.

I am an administrator. How can I share my filters with everybody in for example a user group?

When you are viewing filter, there is a link "Details" near the button "Save as"

Click "Details" a pop-up will come up, click "Edit permissions"

Now "add viewers" by "Group" (choose the group and click add)

Once finish click save.

Thanks for your answer.

However, when I click the "Details" link, the popup only shows some read only information. Please see the screenshot below.

I am an administrator of the project, and the owner of the filter. We host Jira inhouse (not in the cloud).

How can I get the popup that you describe, where you can actually add viewers?

That means you are not the owner of the filter.

Only the owner (usually the one who created the filter) can do what I wrote before (which is what you asked)

That is so weird. The popup tells me I am the owner. Also, I am the one who created the filter. But it is still as per the screenshot.

Hi Matt,

With all of that trouble, it might be an index issue or something related. Try just doing a Save As with a different name, then go back and  delete the original one.

I hope that helps!
