How to show/hide a selectable list of Jira users based on a check box being selected

I need to ensure that some tickets are signed off by a specific department and that we capture who signed the change off.

I want to have two check boxes:

Sign off required: Yes [] No[]

If the user checks 'Yes' then I want a field to be revealed where the name of the person who has signed off the changes name can be added (from the list of Jira users).

If No is selected then nothing should happen.

I am using Jira cloud.

Is this possible?

Hi @Kara Nadarajah ,

in our environment we use this add-on  to show/hide certain fields based on a previous field value. Note: this add-on is for Jira Service Desk only and i'm not sure if there is the same for Jira Software. But, maybe JSD is your case.

So basically you will need to:

- create a Jira group where will be all persons who can sign off the changes

- create a custom user-picker field and enable "group or project role filtering" for it based on a group created on a previous step

- configure Extension for Jira Service Desk to show this fields based on a "Sign off required" value.

Thank you, this is a good starting point.  I'll give it a go :)
