Hi, everyone! This is my first post here so I apologize for any mistakes or lack of details.
Basically my question is Can I restrict labels to be used only with their respective projects?
I'm part of an Atlassian workspace, there we have a number of team-managed projects. There are two of them that I'm actively part of - one I'm an administrator and the other I'm just a member/reporter. So what's happening is that all labels from all projects are currently clustering my (and everyone's) labels list. I'd like to know if it's possible to only see the labels pertaining to their projects. :)
Since the one I'm an administrator is private to my team members and me, I'd like to make its label private as well.
Thanks a lot in advance for your time and help!
Hi @Grazi ,
Thanks for posting and welcome to the community.
The labels are designed in such a way to allow users to define own categories. So, I don't think it can be done. Please check this previous post here in community - https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Limit-the-labels-for-a-project/qaq-p/1205725.
Let me know if that helps.

Hi @Suvradip Paul ! Thank you for your warm welcome and quick answer.
(Sorry if I created a repeating question!)
I took a look at the post you sent me and the multiselect custom field is the one that's already in place, so I believe I'll keep seeing all labels across projects. But thank you very much again!

I'm having the same issue.
In what world would I want every single label from every single project to be available in my very specific service management project? Frustrating.
