How to track the field value changes through JIRA structure board

Hi there,

We have a custom field called "business value" with the values as "A,B,C,D,etc., in jira issues and we would like to track any changes to this field values.

Let's say if there is a new item added A/B/C or if any issue value changes from B->C or C->D, we would like to get the issue ID which gone through this changes.

Is this possible? please suggest.

Hi @Rama ,

History can be accessed in Structure on-prem.  It is not yet available for Cloud.  Do you know which you are on?

If you are hosting on-prem, it would be helpful to understand more about the field and exactly what you are looking to show.

Is this a select list multiple choice?  Are you looking to show just the last change, or all changes?

One last question would be around this statement:

we would like to get the issue ID which gone through this changes

Could you describe your structure hierarchy and where you are looking to show these changes?

Hi @Rama

I don't really think Structure can show the historical data. However if you have eazyBI then you can create a report to change change in values over the period of time.

I hope it helps.

Ravi
