How we will make label field as read only field in edit screen in jira cloud. Can anyone help in this.
And the field will be label and editable. we cannot go with the field as read only while creating itself

Remove Label/s field from Edit Screen. Keep it on View and Create screen. Doing this user will only able to set Label at the time of issue creation

I have 2 fields
1.Error (label field type) from Task-Assume as source
2.Error (Text field type) from Instance-Assume destination.
I need to autopopulate from source to destination whenever the link happens between between source and destination.

@thumuluru_shreya Are you looking to copy Error (label field type) valueto Error (Text field type). When Source and Destination issue linked with a particular link type ?
What type of linking are you doing here ?
If you are using linked issue, and link type is fixed in that case you can create an automation rule which copy data from one field to another field.

Hi @Vikrant Yadav , when task is linked to instance using "is bundled in" when instance is going to link with Task using "bundles" for this I need automation. Could you please help me in this. It will be helpful
