HowTo deploy a workflow on the fly?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to assign a workflow to multiple workflow schemes, which are
used in turn by one or more projects each.

Basically I would like to correct the underlying workflow and assign it instantly to all projects that are using it.

Is this possible, or what would be the recommended approach?

There is no way to do this.  Jira needs to go through the migration process for workflows on issues when you change workflows. You will have to edit the workflow schemes one at a time and allowing the migration process to run through.
