I have a large backlog of defects and a number of planned sprints and I do not seem to be able to move the tickets up and down in that list they are stuck in created date order.
I have tried editing the filter to order by rank and I have admin access
Have a look at the board settings, specifically the board filter - it should have "order by rank" on the end of it.
If it does not, then that explains it - as moving issues up and down a backlog is ranking, the system can't do it unless the list is sorted by rank.
I did have it in the filter but I didn't realise there was a By Rank button on the settings page. thanks,
