I am very new to jira and I need to migrate from ClearQuest to JIRA completly.
What is the best way to do that ?
Can any one give me idea or custom script to do that.
Hi @Queenmary,
I have done the import from ClearQuest to Jira using the csv importer and it is pretty straight forward.
Hi Mikael,
First of thank you so much for your reply.
I too thinking the same way but the attachments are we able to import via csv.?
I think in the csv file the attachments are not imported so is there any way which will handle both the data and attachments imported at a single time..

You can import attachments as well, and it can be done at the same time as you import the issue itself. You will have to process the path using a script in order to get it to work, the importer require that the path is in the format of an URL, so if you have the attachments from CQ stored locally you would have to convert that path. See Importing data from CSV, there is a section in there for how to configure your csv to import attachments.
