I can not add any gadgets on dashboards. Add gadget button not work?

When you click on "Add gadget", the gadget is usually added in the back page. You need to close the pop-up screen (add a gadget screen) to see them. 

Please check and let me know if you still have the issue.

After click Add gadged button and  close the pop-up screen (add a gadget screen), I don't see any a gadget.

Please follow below steps one by one and see if issue is solved. 

1. You have to click on Add gadget on the dashboard and click again on Add gadget button. Once you do so, it will be available on the dashboard. You need to close this gadget box to see the gadget settings. 
2. Log out from Jira, clear your browser cache, disable any browser add-ons, login back and check 
   • OR user another browser and check if its issue there as well.
3. Issue is only for you OR for all users of your jira? If its for all user, then 
   • Disable any recently added plugin/add-ons on your instance (Only Jira admins can do it) and recheck .
   • If still issue, enable safe mode for the add-ons and recheck.

I did it the way you said but still i am not able to add any gadgets in dashboard
