I am all for JIRA allowing for new UI and better flow, but if you give a user a system, don't take it away and expect users not to have backlash.
Right now, I can not edit the issue type of a ticket from what it was originally created with. If a ticket is accidentally written as a bug, I can't go and change that into a story or task. I can edit all the other field except the issue type.
I looked into the documentation and it says they are removing the option to edit on the fly but there is no edit button so that the ticket in general whatever field a JIRA Admin would like it to be. Please don't remove this feature.
I found my own answer, you need to click the icon of the ticket and then it allows you to change the issue type. WOW JIRA, please include that in your step by step tutorial.
