I can't seem to add issue type subtask to my project.

raad fageeh December 23, 2018

I have assigned issue types to my project. The type (Sub-task) is checked but I can't select it because it does not show under my issue types when I try to create a new issue.

Hi @raad fageeh,

You cannot create subtask directly from create screen, A subtask can be created only from from a parent issue.

To be more clear a subtask should be created after you have a parent ticket.

  1. Navigate to the issue you would like to be the parent issue of the sub-task you are about to create.
  2. Select More > Create Sub-Task. You will see the Create sub-task screen.
  3. Fill in the details as needed, and then click Create at the bottom of the page.
