I cannot see issues that i migrated from old project to new project in the backlog of new project

Shefali Gautam August 21, 2021

Hi there,

I have migrated 10 issues from old project to new jira project. I have linked these migrated issues to an epic of the new project, however when I look at the backlog view, I cannot see these migrated issues in the epic summary view but they are visible when I go into the epic record. The total number of items in the backlog are not accounting for these migrated issues.

Can someone please advise:

1) How can I have these migrated issues visible in the backlog of the new project. The total number should be 29, however its excluding the migrated issues and only displaying 19.

No. of issues in backlog.PNG

2) How can the Epic summary backlog view can show these migrated issues count, in the attached image it should show count 10 as the epic has 10 issues linked to it, however its showing 0 which is incorrect.

No issues in epic.PNG

@Shefali Gautam

The issue is very likely in the filter you are using to display issues for the board. I would check the filter of the board and see if you can figure out what is causing these issues to not show.

Thanks,
